
This Library folder is located inside what is often referred to as the Macintosh HD folder – but yours will probably be named whatever you have called your Mac. You can choose one of the following: Automatic: Processed files are saved to a specially created folder named Watch folder name -Output on the same directory level as the watch folder. The second library folder isn’t hidden as such, but it is still tricky to locate thanks to changes Apple’s made to the Finder over the years. Click the Location pop-up menu, then choose a location for your watch folder’s output folder (where the processed files will be saved). Click on it to go straight to the folder.

With either Homebrew or Macports, you can simply type ‘watch’ after the install has been completed to run the command. Click Watch Folders at the top of the Current view in the Compressor window (or press Control-Shift-1).
